What is "managed" colocation?
Just like our bare metal servers, EndLayer offers our full suite of server management services for our colocation customers. Operating system updates, patches, 24/7 monitoring, managed firewall and access control and access to our 24/7/365 world-class support.
Do I get physical access to my server?
We can schedule escorted physical access for clients with over 12U (1/4 cabinet) of colocation space with us. For clients with under 12U of space, just shoot our raving fan support team a line and we'll be happy to perform any physical maintenance you require.
What kind of servers can I colocate?
You can colocate any make / model server you wish. The server must be rack mountable (so no tower servers, sorry!) and must have an IPMI controller (such as Dell DRAC, HP iLO, SuperMicro BMC or similar).
Can I come tour the data center?
In the Boston area? We'd love to have you! We do offer data center tours for serious prospective clients on a case-by-case basis. Shoot us a line to discuss.
